I love this item and I haven’t used my regular Calphalon pieces since I got this one at Target for $40. It is so easy to use and to clean. It heats quicker than my regular stainless steel Calphalon pieces and holds the heat better as well. Frying eggs is so much easier in this but especially easier is making potstickers with that crispy but unburnt edge. I throw Ling Ling frozen chicken potstickers (also sold at Target) into a cold water, slap the lid on and let the whole thing cook down. Instead of using oil, the juices from the filling and the starch from the flour dough dumpling skin in the water cook down to sear the dumpling bottoms. As soon as the dumpling water cooks down completely. I toss the saucepan contents while holding the lid down tight and the potstickers loosen from the pan without the aid of a utensil and are ready to eat. This saucepan is HEAVEN. It is the perfect size. I have only been using this one pot since I got this saucepan a month ago. I’ve also used this for pancakes.
